Who is responsible

What data we process and why

• Visit statistics (Google Analytics 4), only if you accept analytics cookies. Purpose: to understand which guides are useful and improve them. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Data is kept for 14 months in Google Analytics.
• Emails you send us (your address and message). Purpose: to answer you. Legal basis: your consent when you write to us and our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR). Kept while the conversation is relevant and then deleted.
• Technical server logs (IP address, browser, requested page) kept by our hosting provider for security and to keep the site running. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not sell data, show ads, use your data for profiling or ask you to create an account.

Who receives the data

• Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.: Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent).
• Vercel Inc.: Website hosting (technical server logs).

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses offered by the providers.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format, by writing to akihabaraelectrictownsite@gmail.com. If you think your data has not been handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
