Like the start of a Mystery Dungeon adventure: answer 12 quick questions and find out the color of your aura and which starter or partner Pokémon you'd be.
How the aura quiz works
Each answer counts twice: once for one of the four personality letters (E or I, S or N, T or F, J or P) and once for one of three aura traits: warm or cool, bright or deep, heart or mind. Three questions per letter mean there are no ties.
The three traits give one of 8 aura colors. Your four letters pick the Pokémon whose personality matches yours, and your aura color picks the one whose type fits it best, so a red aura leans toward Fire and a blue one toward Water.
The same answers always give the same result, so you can compare with friends.

- Which Pokémon am I?
- Take the 12-question quiz above. It works out your personality type and the color of your aura, then picks one of 40 starter and partner Pokémon that fits both.
- What does my aura color mean?
- Each of the 8 colors comes from three traits in your answers: warm or cool, bright or deep, heart or mind. Pink is warmth, yellow is curiosity, red is passion, orange is drive, green is calm, sky blue is clarity, purple is intuition and blue is serenity.
- Is it the same quiz as Pokémon Mystery Dungeon?
- No. It's inspired by how those games start, but the questions, colors and results are written for this page.
- Why only 40 Pokémon?
- Like in Mystery Dungeon, you can only be a starter or a partner: the 27 starters from all nine generations plus Pikachu, Eevee, Riolu and other classic partners.
- Can I get a whole team?
- Yes. The Pokémon trainer card gives you a team of 6 Pokémon from a personality test, which you can customize and download.
